Day 39: Praise Awaits

Section 7: Praise Him In Advance

Join with us today and pray our prepared prayer on pages 71 and 72 from the FORTY DAYS OF PRAYER FOR EDUCATION free eBook or pray independently from our focus scripture, Psalm 103: 1-2 NIV and enjoy the accompanying song entitled, "Praise Waits" by Richard Smallwood.

PRAISE AWAITS
Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;
You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior
Psalm 65:1, 5

Dear Heavenly Father,

We give You glory for Your power and goodness towards us. There is not one area of our lives where Your eyes have not seen and Your hand has not guided or allowed. Your eyes and heart dwell within us are temples, Your temples, housing Your Holy Spirit.

Today, we want to let You know that our praise waits for You. You who hear the prayers of educators throughout this land. You who hear our children's hearts longing for safety, nourishment, relationship, comfort, guidance and knowledge.  Our praise waits for You.

Our praise waits for You in anticipation of how You are using Your called ones throughout this country in public and private schools, universities, and early childhood centers to push back the realm of darkness and release the light of Your love and salvation.

Our praise waits for Your glorious goodness to flow from Your streams to
provide our schools with the resources and finances we need to improve and bring equality to education in this country.

 To You who have armed Yourself with strength and have given power to those who are called by Your name to do greater works in this time, our praise waits for You.

Our praise waits for the time when Your educators realize that they have the power to raise their dead school system back to life.

Our praise waits for the time when Your educators realize they have the power to open the blinded eyes of their atheist coworkers to see Your goodness.

Our praise waits for the time when Your educators realize they have the power to open the deaf ears of children who don't believe they can succeed or have a God given purpose on this earth.

We prepare our feet to dance, our hands to clap and our mouths to cry Hallelujah to the victorious King who arms His teachers, coaches, directors, professors and administrators with strength to fill the education system with His goodness and to subdue it under His authority.

In Jesus' name,

-Amen
